Vacation is calling with Transat's winter program

The most comprehensive offer of South destinations, all-inclusive packages, all-in-one cruise packages and European holidays

Celebrating its 30^th anniversary this year, Transat can attest that it's now more than ever attuned to the needs of travellers with its many additions to its South collections, its popular all-in-one cruise packages and its seaside holidays in Europe.

Transat's Sun holidays feature all-inclusive packages to 36 destinations in Florida, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central and South America, as well as some 650 hotels, 45 of which are offered exclusively. Transat also stands out for its five collections that simplify the lives of travellers by offering them a selection of hotels suited to their needs: Luxury, Distinction, Solo, Family and Sun Savvy.

Transat also offers flexible vacation options – like home and apartment rentals, à la carte hotels, guided tours and Duo packages combining two regions in one trip – allowing travellers with a thirst for exploration and authenticity to take the type of holiday they want.

The South with Air Transat
This winter, Air Transat offers direct flights to 36 South destinations from 22 Canadian cities, including two new destinations, Tampa and San Juan, from Montreal and Toronto. Therefore, Air Transat offers a total of 145 routes, nine of which are new, such as Santo Domingo (Dominican Republic) from Montreal, and Punta Cana (Dominican Republic) from Ottawa and Kelowna. Moreover, more flights have been added to some of the most popular South destinations from several major Canadian cities: Punta Cana, Cancun (Mexico), Managua (Nicaragua), Roatan (Honduras) and Liberia (Costa Rica) from Toronto; Liberia and San Salvador (El Salvador) from Montreal; and Los Cabos, Puerto Vallarta and Cancun (Mexico) from Vancouver.

Transat's cruise packages: simplicity and peace of mind
According to a recent report from the Cruise Lines International Association, cruises, especially all-inclusive ones, are gaining popularity with all types of travellers, namely with newlyweds and couples, as well as multi-generational families. So it's not surprising that Transat's cruise packages continue to win over new devotees. Packages include roundtrip flights with Air Transat, transfers and the cruise, and can be booked quickly and easily at a travel agency or on Transat's website, just like any all-inclusive package. And thanks to Transat's Flight Protection, travellers are sure to get to their ship in case of a delay.

In addition, with Transat, travellers can make the fun last by adding a hotel stay to their adventure at sea. They can move up their departure date up to 14 days before their cruise or postpone their return to Canada up to 14 days after their journey at sea, at no extra cost. A wide selection of à la carte hotels is offered at various ports in Florida and the Caribbean.

Europe in winter: combining sun with exploration
Some equate travelling with exploration and discovering new cultures. That's why they can be tempted to go and soak up the sun and marvellous wonders of Costa del Sol in Spain or Lisbon and the Algarve in Portugal during a short or long stay.

Transat offers packages that are specially designed for cultural immersion and include the flights, a selection of hotels at reduced rates and featuring a kitchenette or offering a number of free meals, transfers between the airport and the hotel, excursions, and more. For greater flexibility, travellers can also customize their trips by combining flights, accommodations, rental cars and à la carte visits.

Direct flights to Lisbon and Porto, Portugal, are available all year long from Toronto. Transat offers direct flights between Montreal and Malaga, Spain, from January to November. Transat also provides one direct flight a week between Toronto and Faro, Portugal, from January to April, and two direct flights a week between Montreal and Malaga from January to November. These four routes are available to clients from Montreal and Toronto thanks to connecting flights between the two cities. Transat also flies to other cities in Europe year-round, namely Paris, London, Glasgow and Manchester.
